A delay lets you pause between when something happens and when Noptin takes action. Think of it as adding a waiting period to your automation rules.
This is a premium feature.
That means that you have to purchase a plan before you can use it.
How It Works
When setting up an automation rule, you can specify a delay period in seconds.
For example,
If you set a 3600-second delay (1 hour), Noptin will wait for that duration after the trigger event before acting.
When Is This Useful?
Here are some everyday situations where delays make sense:
- After Someone Signs Up
- Instead of sending three welcome emails all at once, you can:
- Send the first email right away
- Wait 1 day to send the second email
- Wait 3 more days to send the third email
- After Someone Buys Something
- Wait a few days after delivery before asking for a review
- This gives customers time to try the product
- When Someone Leaves Items in their Cart
- Wait 1 hour to send the first reminder
- If they still haven’t completed the purchase, wait another day before sending another reminder
- When Subscribers Stop Opening Emails
- Wait a month before sending a “We miss you” message
