      Hi,
      I’ve been using Noptin for a while now and it works great. However now I get 7-10 spam subscribers a day which I have to manually locate and delete from my subscriber list.

      Each email is always formatted with one or two upper case characters and the rest lowercase. Other than that, they appear to be legit email addresses. I know they are not though because I manually check them at neverbounce.com.

      Never bounce has an API which I can use to verify an address and return valid or invalid status. I’ve created a subscription form and neverbounce API code which sends the entered email address to the neverbounce api for verification.

      Now I need to have my code update the Noptin database only when it receives a valid response from the API. Where is the Noptin database located in the WordPress structure and what table(s) need to be updated?

      I only capture the email address. No other data is captured.

        Hi Don,

        Subscribers are stored in the wp_noptin_subscribers table.

        You can call delete_noptin_subscriber( 'email@example.com' ) to delete a subscriber by their email address.

        Alternatively, you can call add_noptin_subscriber( array( 'email' => 'email@example.com' ) ); to add a subscriber by their email address.
