Ways to connect these tools
These are examples. Available fields depend on the event and the choices on your site or connected account.
Add a user to an access group when someone submits a form in WPForms
When a specific WPForms form is submitted.
Add a user to an access group
Choose a form that identifies an existing user or member by email. Use [[email]] in the SureMembers action, then select the access group.
About this connection
How the two tools fit together
WPForms: The WPForms builder includes Noptin subscription settings. Map a form email field to a Noptin subscriber field and optionally require a consent checkbox.
SureMembers: A simple yet powerful way to add content restriction to your website.
What information can you send?
The WPForms form trigger provides the person's email from a submitted email field, or from their logged-in account when the form has no email field. Noptin exposes it as [[email]]. Use it to find an existing account, then choose the access group in the SureMembers action.
Available details depend on the SureMembers event or action you choose and any fields configured on your site.
Put it together
Set up the automation in WordPress
- Select the WPForms form whose submissions should start the automation.
- Choose Access Group > Add, use [[email]] for the existing account, and select the access group.
- Match the details from the first step to the fields in the second. Run a test, then turn on the rule.
Follow the automation rules guide if you need help creating the rule.
