Ways to connect these tools
These are examples. Available fields depend on the event and the choices on your site or connected account.

When a specific WPForms form is submitted.
Change a member's membership level
Choose a form that identifies an existing user or member by email. Use [[email]] in the Simple Membership action, then select or enter the membership level.
About this connection
How the two tools fit together
WPForms: The WPForms builder includes Noptin subscription settings. Map a form email field to a Noptin subscriber field and optionally require a consent checkbox.
Simple Membership: A flexible, well-supported, and easy-to-use WordPress membership plugin for offering free and premium content from your WordPress site.
What information can you send?
The WPForms form trigger provides the person's email from a submitted email field, or from their logged-in account when the form has no email field. Noptin exposes it as [[email]]. Use it to find an existing account, then choose the membership level in the Simple Membership action.
Available details depend on the Simple Membership event or action you choose and any fields configured on your site.
Put it together
Set up the automation in WordPress
- Select the WPForms form whose submissions should start the automation.
- Choose Simple Membership > Change Membership Level, use [[email]] for the existing account, and select the membership level.
- Match the details from the first step to the fields in the second. Run a test, then turn on the rule.
Follow the automation rules guide if you need help creating the rule.
