What I needed was an inexpensive way to test if newsletters would benefit my ecom site, and options were thin, but this has ended up doing exactly as i’d hoped so far.

Limiting how many it sends per hour so as not to exceed hosting quotas is the key, allowing both a Gutenberg-style editor and classic HTML/CSS editor is great.

I ended up just using an LLM to design the code.

If I’d have known some of the hassle in finding good, supported, straight forward to set up plugins for wordpress I may have taken a different route regarding web development and using wordpress to begin with.

However, Noptin worked out the box, is easy to setup and just does what I simply want it to do. I did pay for the full version, but that’s fine as it provides a good service, works out of the box and is fairly simple to setup and get running.
