Ways to connect these tools
These are examples. Available fields depend on the event and the choices on your site or connected account.
Open a WP-Polls poll after a QuillForms staff approval form is submitted
When a specific QuillForms form is submitted.
Open a poll for voting
Use a staff approval form with a poll ID field, such as a select field or a hidden field. Set its option values or hidden value to existing poll IDs, then map the merge tag for that submitted field to the poll ID setting in the open-poll action. Restrict the form to staff authorized to open those polls.
About this connection
How the two tools fit together
QuillForms: Choose the QuillForms form that starts the automation. Noptin receives its submitted answers even when QuillForms entry storage is disabled.
WP-Polls: Add AJAX polls to WordPress.
What information can you send?
First choose the QuillForms form. Noptin then shows the answers that form collects, so you can send the right ones to WP-Polls.
Available details depend on the WP-Polls event or action you choose and any fields configured on your site.
Put it together
Set up the automation in WordPress
- Select the QuillForms form whose submissions should start the automation.
- Choose an action from WP-Polls in the list above and fill in its required settings.
- Match the details from the first step to the fields in the second. Run a test, then turn on the rule.
Follow the automation rules guide if you need help creating the rule.
